BOOK ONE · LESSON 091
Poor Ian!
可怜的伊恩!
A dialogue lesson on the future tense with 'shall/will' and 'be going to'. Three neighbours (Catherine, Jenny, and Linda) discuss Ian, who has just sold his house and is moving tomorrow afternoon. Jenny has always known Ian as a good neighbour and will see him today to give him their regards. The twist: Ian didn't want to leave, but his wife did! New vocabulary includes still, move, miss, neighbour, person, people, and poor. Workbook practice covers completing the dialogue (fill in missing words) and sorting nouns by plural pronunciation. Grammar exercises practise replacing 'am/is/are going to' with 'shall/will' and completing dialogues using the cues given.
