When did you/will you go to ...?

你过去/将在什么时候去……？

A lesson on past and future time expressions. A time-reference table (last week/this week/next week/the week after next, and similar for month and year) is followed by fifteen small pictures of world cities (Athens, Beijing, Berlin, Bombay, Geneva, London, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Paris, Rome, Seoul, Stockholm, Sydney, Tokyo). Students listen to questions about when people went to or will go to these cities. Written exercises A (rewrite sentences using will) and B (answer questions following the example) are transcribed from the textbook. Workbook practice covers making sentences with went/will go pairs and open-ended personal questions. Grammar exercises practise answering questions using shall/will with given cues, and changing statements into questions.
