BOOK ONE · LESSON 126
Have to and do not need to 不得不和不必要
不得不和不必要
A picture lesson on 'have to' (obligation) and 'do not need to' (absence of obligation), including the past form 'didn't need to' and 'had to'. Six pictures show questions and answers about having to leave immediately, getting up early, taking a taxi, waiting two hours, watering the garden and walking to the station. The lesson introduces the word immediately and written exercises on writing questions and answers, answering with have to/has to, and writing questions with have to. The workbook drills choosing between have to / don't need to / didn't need to and reacting to situations; the grammar workbook completes sentences with have to, don't need to or didn't need to and makes dialogues about school duties.
